Orange Sky Returns With Heartfelt Single “Family Love,” Ahead of 30th Anniversary

Written by on October 8, 2025

Port of Spain, Trinidad — Legendary Trinbagonian reggae–rock fusion band Orange Sky has released a powerful new single, “Family Love,” a track that calls for unity, healing, and appreciation of family ties.

A Message Rooted in Family and Faith

With their signature Roots Rock sound that fuses reggae, rock, and rapso, “Family Love” captures a message that is both timeless and deeply relevant. The song encourages listeners to mend broken family relationships and cherish the people who matter most — from siblings and parents to cousins and children.

“Everywhere you go, people are dealing with family fallouts, grudges, and broken ties,” shared bassist Nico (Nicholas Rojas). “This song is about healing that cycle. Life is temporary, why waste it carrying burdens of pride and pain? Family love forever is the answer.”

Production and Collaboration

Produced by Joshua “Super Youth” Salcedo and Aaron Marquez of Proden Studios, with executive production by Apex Advertising Caribbean, the single features a guest appearance by T and T Yellows.

The production highlights Orange Sky’s signature fusion — reggae’s soulful roots blended with rock’s edge and the rhythmic influence of rapso. The result is a sound that feels both classic and contemporary, resonating across audiences.

Celebrating 30 Years of Music

“Family Love” marks an important chapter in Orange Sky’s legacy as the group prepares to celebrate 30 years in music in April 2026. Band members Nigel Rojas (lead vocals/guitar), Nicholas Rojas (bass/back-up vocals), Dax Cartar (guitar), and Dion Camacho (drums) have performed internationally across the U.S., U.K., India, and the Caribbean, all while balancing life and family at home in Trinidad and Tobago.

“Family Love is more than a song, it’s a movement,” Nico said. “We hope when people hear it on radio, online, or live at our shows, they’ll feel it so deeply that they’ll sing it from their hearts.”

A New Chapter for Orange Sky

The single serves as the first release from Orange Sky’s upcoming EP, offering fans a glimpse into the band’s evolving sound and lyrical depth. The official music video — directed by Marvin “Mr King” Lewis — is now available on YouTube: Watch Here.

Artwork for the track was created by Michelle de Gourville and Talib Ali, with Shirlena “Zola” Grandsault and Helen Marquez providing background vocals, and CP and Miguel contributing additional brass arrangements.
