Morgan Heritage Releases “Pressure” on The Signal Riddim, Produced by Lion King Muzik

Kingston, Jamaica – Reggae royalty Morgan Heritage has delivered a heartfelt new track, “Pressure,” the latest release from The Signal Riddim, produced by Richard ‘Lionface’ Thomas of Lion King Muzik. The single, featuring lead vocals from the late Peetah Morgan, stands as one of his final recordings, making it a deeply emotional release for fans of the legendary group.

A Song of Strength and Resilience

Carrying the signature soulful harmonies that have defined Morgan Heritage for decades, “Pressure” offers a message of hope and support to those experiencing life’s struggles. The lyrics aim to uplift, reminding listeners that even in difficult times, they are not alone. Drawing a parallel between biblical miracles and modern faith, the song encourages perseverance through hardships.

Producer Richard ‘Lionface’ Thomas explained the inspiration behind the track, saying:

“Music is about balance. We have songs for good times, and we have songs for when ‘we ah guh through.’ Pressure is for people who are facing difficulties.”

Mojo Morgan added:

“We have to press through the struggles and encourage the yutes to achieve greatness.”

Pressure is part of The Signal Riddim, a five-track compilation featuring contributions from J.C. Lodge, Maxi Priest and Sean Paul, Luciano, and Quan Dajai. The riddim blends themes of love, faith, and inspiration over a classic Reggae one-drop beat, with radio support spanning the US Virgin Islands, the UK, Canada, Switzerland, and Ghana.
