Kingston, Jamaica – New York-based restaurateur and music producer, King Barka, has made a powerful return to the mainstream music scene with his latest project, the “Good Good Gyal” rhythm. The first release from this project features D’Angel, the popular Jamaican recording artist, with a self-titled single, “Good Good Gyal”.
After six years of professional music production, King Barka had recently shifted focus to other business ventures, stepping back from the industry. However, the opportunity to work on the “Good Good Gyal” project reignited his passion for music production, inspiring him to dive back in.

Released on September 20th, the single quickly soared to success, reaching #1 on the iTunes Reggae Charts in less than 24 hours. The official video also achieved over 160,000 views within days of its release, marking a significant milestone for King Barka.
King Barka, who has previously worked with trending artists like Fully Bad, Devina Burn, and Dicelebrityy, demonstrates growth with this project. His ability to blend Caribbean rhythms with mainstream sounds elevates his production to international standards. “I’ve always been watching D’Angel’s career, and I knew the ladies needed something to vibe with. D’Angel found it with this single,” Barka added.
