This victory solidifies his position as the most decorated boxer in the history of Cuba’s premier amateur boxing championship.

Competing in the 92 kg weight class, La Cruz delivered a commanding performance, defeating his opponent with a unanimous 5-0 decision. His triumph not only surpasses the previous record held by the legendary Félix Savón but also underscores his enduring dominance in the ring.
