Written by on October 8, 2025

Toronto, ON — Chicago/Brooklyn-based saxophonist, composer, and educator Isaiah Collier will make his highly anticipated return to Toronto for three nights of world-class jazz, from October 10 to 12, 2025, presented by Caliban Arts Theatre and CONTXT by Trane.

The event, held at 918 Bathurst and CONTXT by Trane (254 Lansdowne Ave), promises an unforgettable fusion of creativity and musicianship featuring some of Canada’s most respected players.

A Global Jazz Visionary

Collier, who has performed on international stages including Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola, The White House, and the Chicago Jazz Festival, is known for his deep musicality and spiritual approach to sound.

A multi-instrumentalist and activist, Collier has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Chance The Rapper, Lewis Nash, and Wadada Leo Smith, earning acclaim for his bold improvisational style that bridges tradition and innovation.
