DJ Paradise Unites Global Voices on New Reggae Compilation ‘Global World Peace’

DJ Paradise unites reggae legends and rising stars from around the globe in his new compilation album, ‘Global World Peace,’ launched on Emancipation Day.

Kingston, Jamaica — UK-based reggae and drum and bass producer DJ Paradise Musical-Genius, born Jason Watkis, is using music as a bridge for unity with the launch of his newest project: the Global World Peace rhythm compilation. Featuring a blend of veteran legends and rising international talents, the 12-track album is being released strategically in phases to amplify the individual message and power of each song.

The project was launched on August 1, coinciding with Jamaica’s Emancipation Day, with the first two tracks — “Everyone Wants Love” by reggae queen Queen Ifrica and “Fight For Jah Love” by roots legend Little Roy. Roy, whose classic 1974 hit “Tribal War” remains a staple in reggae culture, adds gravitas to this globally-conscious compilation.

On August 9, the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, DJ Paradise released six more tracks that emphasize themes of peace, resilience, and human solidarity. Among these is “We Survive” by Jah Tiff, a powerful offering from the US-based artist known for his emotive delivery and conscious lyricism. Also featured are:

• Sista Zeal with “Peace In The World”

• Gritty ft. Sir Nutz on “How You Make Me Feel”

• Shayhil ft. Sir Nutz on “Memories”

• Jah Clarity from Jamaica with “Jamaica Warning”

While only 8 of the 12 tracks have been released so far, DJ Paradise’s methodical rollout ensures that each message has space to resonate globally.
