The delegation included the Governor of Niger State, Mohammed Umaru Bago, and Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).

The October 10 meeting focused on fostering stronger economic ties and collaboration with the dynamic and rapidly growing Nigerian Canadian community in Brampton. Mayor Brown highlighted the city’s pride in its diverse population, noting the importance of working with the Nigerian diaspora to facilitate trade and investment opportunities.
