Tifa Speaks Out After Viral TikTok Content Flagged: “They Can’t Cancel Me”

Kingston, Jamaica — Reggae-dancehall artist Tifa is once again calling attention to what she describes as deliberate attempts to disrupt her online visibility. The outspoken entertainer, who recently found global traction with her trending single “Can’t Cancel Me,” says several of her viral TikTok posts have been flagged, muted, or removed—despite being fully authorized and in compliance with platform policies.

“I’ve always said that my posts have been flagged and shadow banned and sometimes I don’t even talk about it because I come across as paranoid, but this is obvious with my current song’s audio being removed and muted as unauthorized content,” Tifa told Vision Newspaper. “There is nothing wrong with the content, but people hide behind fake pages and make an effort to report everything I post.”

Targeted Takedowns of Viral Content

According to Tifa, one of her posts using a one-minute clip of “Can’t Cancel Me”—which had already gone viral—was flagged and removed. Additionally, more than 5,000 videos created by other TikTok users using the same audio were muted. When she highlighted that only one of her posts was affected, another was soon reported and removed as well.

While the official “Can’t Cancel Me” track remains authorized on TikTok, Tifa believes the removal of the most popular remix clips indicates a targeted effort to stifle her reach.

Social Media Platforms Investigating

Tifa has since contacted TikTok representatives and other social media platforms for an investigation into the matter. She says her team is cooperating with platform officials to identify those responsible for the repeated reports.

“They recognize I’ve gotten another hit song and they are trying hard to derail it, but it won’t work,” Tifa explained. “They have even tried to hack my WhatsApp and IG, but this is just showing me how threatened they feel by my success. Evil will never prevail though, and as the song says, ‘God a my Boss, so them can’t cancel me.’”

Growing Success for “Can’t Cancel Me”

Despite the setbacks, “Can’t Cancel Me” continues to climb globally. The single has been added to iHeartRadio playlists in the United States and is now in rotation on New York’s Hot 97, one of the city’s premier urban radio stations.

Produced by Digital One Productions, the track appears on the Santa Jamaica Riddim project and carries Tifa’s signature blend of empowerment, confidence, and resilience — a message that seems to mirror her real-life experience online.
