Markham, ON — Dancehall fans across Canada are in for a historic moment as legendary performer Bounty Killer makes his long-awaited return to a Canadian stage after two decades. The Grammy-winning icon, known as the “Poor People Governor,” headlines the Oasis Music Festival at Markham Fair Grounds, alongside powerhouse artists Dexta Daps, Cham, and Mr. Killa.

The festival, produced by Patrick Shirley of Chystar Promotions, marks the first official Oasis Music Festival in Canada and promises to showcase the best of dancehall, reggae, and soca.

A Celebration of Caribbean Culture

“This is more than a concert — it’s a celebration of dancehall, reggae, soca and Caribbean culture at its absolute finest. Expect an electrifying atmosphere, incredible vibes, and a crowd that knows how to party,” said Shirley, CEO of the festival.

The lineup reflects the diversity and energy of Caribbean music.

  • Cham (formerly Baby Cham), a trendsetter in dancehall, will showcase hits including Ghetto Story, Vitamin S, and his remix of This Is Why I’m Hot.
