The dancehall icon kicks off his international comeback May 24 in Guyana, with stops across the U.S., Europe, and the Caribbean — plus new music under Defiant Records.

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Worl’ Boss is officially back. Dancehall icon Vybz Kartel has launched his highly anticipated 2025 Worl’ Boss Tour, which will take the deejay across the Caribbean, North America, and Europe, marking a triumphant return to the global stage following his release from prison in late 2024.

The tour kicks off on May 24 in Georgetown, Guyana, and will include stops in Trinidad, the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, France, England, Malta, and of course, Jamaica. Tour dates are set to feature both standalone concerts and major music festivals, including appearances at London’s Wireless Festival, Cologne’s Summerjam Festival, and Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay.

Kartel, who reappeared onstage at Barclays Center in April and recently performed at Miami’s Amerant Bank Arena, continues to receive an outpouring of fan support. His U.S. tour dates have seen sold-out crowds and mark the beginning of what industry insiders are calling one of the biggest dancehall comebacks in recent memory.

Coinciding with the tour announcement is the release of his brand-new single, “Pretty Girl”, under Defiant Records. The track, produced with Kartel’s signature lyrical flow and energy, is accompanied by a visually rich music video directed by Rizzy, signaling a new chapter in the deejay’s post-release artistry.

The announcement was first teased on Kartel’s official @Vybz_Official X account on May 21, with a post that read:

#WORLBOSS TOUR #ForTheCulture 🇯🇲
The post immediately sparked excitement online, amassing over 96,000 views within hours.

Fans eager to experience the Worl’ Boss live can find tickets for various dates on Ticketmaster and Live Nation, with additional venues and cities expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

For the dancehall community and the global reggae diaspora, Kartel’s return marks more than a concert tour—it’s a cultural moment.
