“Canada and Jamaica have been friends and partners for decades,” Johnson Smith stated on her official X (formerly Twitter) account. “It was a pleasure to meet in Toronto with my counterpart, @melaniejoly. We had productive discussions about our bilateral, hemispheric, and multilateral cooperation, looking at opportunities to strengthen areas working very well, expand into new areas, and to work through challenges where they exist in this very complex global environment.”
