Kingston Jamaica – Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Lionsgate are launching a new free ad-supported streaming channel called 50 Cent Action, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This partnership will feature a variety of action-packed content from Lionsgate’s extensive library. The channel will include popular titles like The Expendables, The Hitman’s Bodyguard, Rambo, and the original series Power, as well as films starring 50 Cent.

Jim Packer, Lionsgate’s president of worldwide television distribution, expressed excitement about the collaboration, noting that 50 Cent’s movies and TV shows are known for their non-stop action. The partnership will extend their longstanding relationship into the FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) space, with 50 Cent’s companies, G-Unit Film and Television and G-Unit Studios, working closely with Lionsgate on the project.

50 Cent emphasized his commitment to delivering high-quality content and providing a platform for fresh, dynamic voices. He mentioned that 50 Cent Action will feature both new content and a vast library of action films, ensuring premium quality. He highlighted the importance of fitting his original material on the platform, promising the inclusion of popular series like Power and upcoming spinoffs from BMF. He is confident that within a year, the channel will be among the top-ranked FAST channels.

In a recent interview, 50 Cent also reflected on past feuds with fellow rappers like Fat Joe and Cam’ron, acknowledging that these rivalries were a waste of time. He noted that his competitive nature led to unnecessary conflicts but has since moved past them.
