OneRPM Scores Big with Three Top 10 Hits on iTunes

Kingston, Jamaica – Music distribution powerhouse OneRPM has achieved remarkable success this month, with three of its latest releases dominating the iTunes charts. The albums, which dropped between November 7 and 8, 2024, include Broken Child by Nordia Mothersille, the Dutty Showtime Riddim compilation produced by Sean Paul’s Dutty Rock Productions in collaboration with Mad House Records, and Xyclone’s latest EP, The Sounds of Gambia.
Nordia Mothersille’s Broken Child, produced by Notnice Records, peaked at number 2 on the iTunes Reggae Albums Chart before settling at number 5. The Dutty Showtime Riddim compilation debuted at number 3 and landed at number 8 later in the week. Meanwhile, Xyclone’s The Sounds of Gambia made the most significant climb, debuting at number 22, surging to number 5, and finally settling at number 2 overall. Xyclone’s momentum continued with all six tracks from his EP charting on the iTunes Reggae Singles Chart. His lead single, Who Fah, gained even more traction after being added to several Apple Music playlists curated by OneRPM.
Sean Paul’s Dutty Showtime Riddim features an impressive lineup of artists, blending veteran and emerging talents. The compilation includes tracks by Buju Banton, Tarrus Riley, Busy Signal, Ward 21, Charly Black, Chi Ching Ching, Farenizzi, and rising star J’Calm. The project highlights Sean Paul’s commitment to showcasing diverse voices in reggae and dancehall.
For Mothersille, Broken Child marks a significant milestone as her debut album. Produced by the renowned Notnice Records, the project received a warm reception, with an official launch event celebrating her artistry.
Xyclone’s The Sounds of Gambia reflects his international appeal and dedication to exploring new musical landscapes. Recorded during his recent trip to The Gambia, the EP blends authentic African influences with reggae and dancehall vibes, further solidifying his position as a global artist.
