JUTC Commences Major Deployment Rollout in Corporate Area

Kingston, Jamaica – The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) began a key phase of its deployment plan today, rolling out a revamped bus schedule across the Corporate Area in an effort to improve public transportation. Daryl Vaz, Minister of Science, Energy, Telecommunications, and Transport, has been closely monitoring the deployment. Commuters and drivers alike have voiced appreciation for the improvements. “The buses are more frequent, and I didn’t have to wait as long this morning,” said one passenger traveling from Half-Way Tree to Downtown Kingston. Others have echoed similar sentiments, while some suggested further tweaks to route timings to better accommodate the morning rush.

The JUTC, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport, has committed to ongoing adjustments and improvements to meet the needs of the city’s growing population. “This is just the beginning of a broader plan to enhance public transport,” noted a JUTC spokesperson.
