JAMAL ADDED TO STAR STUDDED MAGNUM CAROUSING DANCEHALL WEEK AFTER PARTY LINEUP

Kingston, Jamaica – The second annual Dancehall Week celebrations are ramping up to be a real star-studded affair with the addition of popular dancehall artiste Jamal to the Magnum Carousing after party on Sunday March 2, to be held at the Ranny Williams Entertainment center starting at 7pm.

Magnum Carousing is the official climax event for the week long set of activities and events celebrating Dancehall Culture in Kingston Jamaica. The event already boasts live performances from; Jah Vinci, Pamputtae, Jada Kingdom and Tommy Lee Sparta, with the addition of new and trending act Jamal – aka DunceMan,- – the Dancehall Week team feels that the lineup is now complete.

After the Double Seven Street Parade in Kingston we head right into the wildest after party with the hottest acts in dancehall today, and we are excited to see them rock the stage. All these artistes have etched their own niche and developed their own fan base in entertainment so together they represent the blend that is truly Dancehall, ” Dave Goldson CEO of Dancehall Week shared

Jamal, also known by the moniker, DunceMan is gaining traction in the dancehall space in recent months with trending singles across streaming platforms locally and internationally. He recently gave a steady performance on Vybz Kartel’s Freedom Street Concert at the National Stadium on New Year’s Eve.

Dancehall Week will host an elaborate week-long Dancehall Village at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre in Kingston from February 23 to March 2. The Dancehall Museum will open for two days starting at the Business of Entertainment Expo on Wednesday February 26, showcasing items that epitomize the dancehall journey through the decades.

In addition to Financing and Production seminars, the Village will also feature; dance and fitness boot camps and a games night to kick start the week. Other known weekly events; Tuesday Service and Original Dancehall Thursdays will be hosted in the Village on their regular nights. The week-long celebration of Dancehall Culture ends with Dancehall Fashion Frenzy, the fashion show and a sale extravaganza on Friday night as well as the Double Seven Dancehall Street Parade on Sunday Evening from Ranny Williams on Hope Road to Half Way Tree Square and then back to Ranny Williams for the Magnum Carousing after party.

Endorsements for Dancehall Week 2025 have been secured from the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Culture Gender Entertainment and Sport, The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC), and the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation (KSAC). It is also officially part of the Reggae Month event line-up for 2025.
