Gas prices up $0.25, diesel down $0.25

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, October 17, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.

With both grades of gasoline up by $0.25, 90-octane will be sold for $176.12 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $167.09 per litre.

Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $165.68 per litre after a decrease of $0.25 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $173.61 per litre down by $0.43.

Kerosene increased by $0.25 and will be sold for $156.08 per litre.

Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $73.72 per litre down by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $84.54 per litre after an increase of $0.25.

Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
