Garfield Angus Honoured at Pollyanna Project Trailblazer Awards and Gala

New York, USA  – The Pollyanna Project hosted its annual Trailblazer Awards and Gala at Terrace on the Park, New York, celebrating over 30 years of service dedicated to uplifting communities in the Caribbean and African Diaspora. This year’s event, themed A Heart Like Thine ‘2’, brought together distinguished guests, honourees, and donors in support of the organization’s mission to “Help One Hand at a Time.”

Veteran journalist and senior reporter at the Jamaica Information Service (JIS), Garfield Angus, was among the honourees recognized for his unwavering commitment to impactful storytelling and community engagement. Angus, known for his dedication to highlighting issues affecting Jamaica and the wider Caribbean, was celebrated for his role in advocating for social development through media.
