Roseau, Dominica — Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit welcomed the Italian Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Dominica, His Excellency Fabrizio Nicoletti, during a courtesy call this week, highlighting the strengthening of diplomatic ties between the two nations.
In a statement shared on social media, Prime Minister Skerrit said the discussions “reaffirmed our shared commitment to addressing climate change,” a critical issue for Dominica as it continues to pursue resilience in the face of increasing climate threats. Ambassador Nicoletti also emphasized the potential for collaboration in agriculture—an area of growing interest as Dominica seeks to boost food security and sustainable farming practices.
